| I was running my best marathon ever in Detroit. I had five miles to go and I took my Tropical Blast e-Gel because there was a water station about 100 yards ahead. I got to the station and it was a bunch of guys handing out beer! Determined, I went on. The e-Gel was so easy to digest, I got through it just fine when I hit a water station about a mile later. Somehow that just cranked me and my fastest mile was mile 26. Not only did I finally hit my sub-three hour dream, I hit 2:57! |
