I just had a PR in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and I attribute it to e-Fuel and e-Gel. This was the first race since I suffered severe leg cramps over the final 12 miles in last year’s NYC marathon, finishing in 4:49. Following the recommended usage of both products I cruised to a relatively easy 4:03, cramping only in the final two miles. The cramping probably was due to higher-than normal humidity as several of the top finishers complained of cramping late in the race due to the humidity. So I don’t feel my late cramping was due to any improper usage of either product.
